An evacuation plan is a sign showing escape routes, instructions in case of fire or other danger, placement of manual alarm triggers and emergency telephone, and collection point. (SS 2875)
The drawing contains information on how to behave and where to gather while waiting for the emergency services.
'In a building, to the extent necessary and in appropriate locations, appropriations shall be provided with evacuation plans.' (AFS 2009:2).
At least one evacuation plan is appropriate on each floor of a building.
The evacuation plan shall be placed at an appropriate reading height.
